Studio Renovation: Stain for Stairs

I stained the studio handrail and stair treads with General Finishes Grey Gel Stain. It worked well on the oak posts straight out of the can. The application on the upright posts did not drip, and came pretty close to matching the wood flooring I ordered, Vintage Pewter Oak. The pine treads needed a wood conditioner prior before applying the stain. The stain looked nice on the treads as well
